"Berger Pfinstig" (May to October)

Traditional Schennaberg: „Berger Pfinstig“. What is "Tallner Sunday" to the guesthouses in the Hirzer region is "Berger Pfinstig" to the huts, restaurants and rustic taverns at Schennaberg.

"Pfinstig" is the ancient word for Thursday, which is still used today by many people. On this day, old and young hikers alike can look forward to accordion or folk's music, traditional farmer's dishes, and a varied children's programme. The event will take place every first Thursday of the month from May to November in the hiking area between Verdins and Meran 2000.
